Push Notifications
If the user enables push notifications, the app receives a device token provided by Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
This token is transmitted to the Terremoto backend and is used exclusively to deliver earthquake notifications to the device.
The device token is a technical identifier used for push notification delivery and is not used by Terremoto to identify, profile or track the user.
Users can disable notifications at any time through the notification settings of their device.
Location
Terremoto does not collect or store the user’s geographic location on its servers.
Any location-related functionality provided by the app is processed according to the functionality available on the user’s device and is not used for user tracking or profiling.
Analytics and Advertising
Terremoto does not use the information processed by the app for advertising or user profiling.
Seismic Data
Earthquake information displayed by the app is obtained from official seismic data sources, including the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV).
These data concern seismic events and do not contain information relating to individual users of the app.
Third-Party Services
The app relies on services provided by Apple, including Apple Push Notification service (APNs), for the delivery of push notifications.
